What is Wisdom?

“For wisdom is better than rubies; And all desirable things cannot compare with her.”

Knowledge and wisdom go hand-in-hand. Many ask what is Wisdom, How do you obtain Wisdom, Where does it come from?

We are living in an era of great knowledge. At the drop of a hat we can inquire on social media many answers to any question that may arise. Along with this knowledge there is the worship of mana, material things. In an instant we can have products delivered, wrapped, and placed at our doorstep within 24 hours. We are generation of the now! Instant gratification!

Skillful and godly wisdom is a process which takes time. It is not instantaneous. It is obtained with years of searching, studying, and embracing life’s experiences. We become equipped as we walk with Jesus.

Have you ever been with someone and as they begin to speak there’s a wealth of wisdom coming forth? It flows like a gold vein, precious truths being imparted. you want to listen and retain these moments for you know it has come from years of intimacy with God. Your spirit connects with those nuggets. Cherish and honour those times, it’s truly a gift being shared with you.

Wisdom is a gift to embrace and receive . Wisdom is your friend, above all things seek wisdom.
